Yesterday would have been 65 years since the earth was blessed with the devilishly handsome Patrick Swayze. Although he passed away due to pancreatic cancer in September of 2009, his legacy continues to live on through his work in the entertainment industry.
Swayze was a triple threat, acting, singing, and dancing as showcased in my all-time favorite movie Dirty Dancing. Nothing seemed to limit the star from making waves in many films such as Red Dawn and Roadhouse. His skills were not limited to just one area of expertise as made evident by his iconic Chippendale’s skit with Chris Farley to his clay making magic in Ghost, Swayze may be gone but is never to be forgotten.
In honor of Swayze’s would be 65th birthday, feel free to curl up with your favorite Swayze film or you can make a donation to the American Cancer Society to help fight the good fight in his honor.
