Thanksgiving Reflections

It’s Friday Morning and I’m taking a few minutes to drink my coffee while reflecting on yesterdays festivities. Thanksgiving is a great holiday because it gives us a whole day to stop and think about all the things big and small that we’re thankful for, which is something we sometimes over look through out the rest of the year.

This year has handed us a lot, but I’m constantly thankful for my little family, my tiny human and happy husband who always seem to know just what to do to make things better. I’m thankful for my extended family, my parents and siblings are a close knit bunch, plus the perks of being married means that you inherit not only a spouse but a whole new family to have fun with.

I’m thankful for health, to be able to work and support my family in a way some people can not. I’m also thankful for my job, for the awesome family I work for, and to be able to bring my son with me every day is pretty rad as well.

I’m also thankful for the bigger things such as freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and living in a country where as a woman I can do nearly everything a man can. I’m thankful for my time in service as its taught me not only about this big country, but also so much about the people within it.

I’m forever thankful for the opportunity to be a parent, although earlier than expected I’m blessed with a tiny human that is constantly teaching me so much about this world we live in.

I’m thankful to make it through another year and look forward to many more to come!

Thankful for a fussy baby during dinner.

Cheers,

Kyla
